Loving the time off…

Today, whilst my colleagues were roasting in the jam factory I went off with Jo to our local outdoor pool in Hinksey - wonderful, absolutely wonderful. Other Aldates people were there…piggy in the middle with a weird small floppy frisbee…chips…icecream….and sunburn - yes, I’m silly, I didn’t put any sunscreen on and got just a tad burnt. Ah well, it was worth it.

Tomorrow, I think I’m going to go shopping, and buy some clothes…as far as I can remember I’ve bought one jumper since October and have decided that maybe now is time to invest in a few items - if I can find anything that inspires me that is, it’s not always easy. Tempted to get an airport express to wirelessly stream audio to my hi-fi from my laptop, my current cable does reach a reasonably way across the room though…

Started on Jesus and the Victory of God - all good so far, starting a book is always easier than the middle though.

I do also have to congratulate Christina on getting the job (yes, I did a link properly for once…only because I’m using Camino which the WYSIWYG editor actually supports) she’s been so excited about for the last couple of weeks - even if I’m somewhat envious of someone else having sorted out the next bit of their life.
